KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) is the only integrated women's and children's hospital in Singapore. We have more then 150 years of experience in caring for women and children. We are a JCI accredited hospital, focusing on patient-centered care.
The 830-bed hospital offers the full range of tertiary services in obstetrics and gynaecology; breast health; otolaryngology; orthopaedics; plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery; paediatric medicine and paediatric surgery through its 350 specialists, combined with some of the most advanced medical technology.
Our patients are cared for by skilled and experienced healthcare professionals, who emphasize on safety and will push the boundaries of excellence through continuous training and research. Each year, the hospital delivers one-third of the total number of babies born in Singapore; and records approximately 60,000 inpatient admissions and over 560,000 outpatient visits. It is also a teaching hospital affiliated to the National University of Singapore.

  • KK Urogynaecology Centre - a one-stop Urogynaecology Centre offering holistic treatment of female urinary dysfunction and pelvic floor disorders. First in Asia to perform TVT-Obturator system for women with urinary incontinence. The 1- year cure rate is 95.2%.
  • KKIVF Centre - a leading infertility centre in South-East Asia. Asia's first IVF (In-Vitro fertilization) baby
  • First hospital in the Asia Pacific region to receive the Asian Hospital Management Award (AHMA) for measures taken to improve the safety of women in labour and their newborns. The AHMA is widely regarded as the premier hospital management award in the Asia Pacific region.
  • The first in SE Asia to offer non-surgical, outpatient solution for the treatment of uterine fibroids. This treatment uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with ultrasound waves focused on the fibroid to destroy these non-cancerous uterine masses. All these are done without any incisions.
  • KK Breast Centre is a one-stop centre fully dedicated to looking after breast health. It is the first in the world to use the FDA-approved computed radiography technology for mammography, combined with computed-aided detection.
  • Department of Paediatric Surgery is the single largest provider of paediatric surgery in Singapore. As an Advanced Paediatric Surgery training facility, it is also recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
  • Tertiary referral centre for paediatric bone marrow transplants and open-heart surgery
  • KKH's Children's Cancer Centre is one of the largest paediatric children's cancer centre in Southeast Asia. It treats 70% of childhood cancers in Singapore, with a growing number of children with cancer from the region being referred here.
  • Children's ENT Centre, which offers a comprehensive programme of paediatric cochlear implantation to auditory verbal therapy.
  • Children's Emergency Transport Service (CHETS), possibly the only dedicated paediatric and neonatal transport team in the region.
  • Our Cleft and Craniofacial Centre offers a comprehensive management of all deformities of the head and face.
